What is the best way to keep/store DVDs and CDs in the following adverse conditions?
I live in Japan and between Winter and Summer, there is about a 20-25 degree swing in temperature, and about a 50%-65% swing in humidity. The way Japanese homes are built, there is no way to have a temperature and humidity controlled room all throughout the year. Also, no central air. Can anybody recommend a good way for me to store my DVD collection so they can keep for longer than 10 years? I was thinking about an aluminum keep box, but would that just make the heat or cold more intense? I don't know. Right now, I am keeping them in regular DVD/CD cases, not it the boxes you buy them, in, but rather the nylon-cloth briefcase like carrying bags.
What is the BEST way under these conditions?

Actually, a 20-25 degree temp change isn't all that bad, even if you're talking Celsius. But if you want to make sure that changes are slow and even, put your discs in one of those insulated coolers. The insulation will prevent fast temperature changes to your discs. Of cousre, no ice needs to be added 
. The cooler doesn't care, the insulation will work to keep the inside temp as consistant as possible. You can get whatever size fits your needs and add more as you add discs.
