dose anyone have the msr dragonfly?
i am thinking of thinking of purchesing this product, i would like to know your thoughts about this stove and how it compares to the msr whisperlite. thank you
I sort of agree with Brian, but not totally. His description of what the Whisperlite and Dragonfly can do are acurate, although adjustments on the Whisperlite are not quite as all-or-nothing as he describes. But, more to the point, you can pack the more versatile and easier Whisperlite (you don't want stove complications in the woods) and just adjust the cooking by moving the pot slightly off the flame and/or adjusting the lid and/or the amount of oil or butter in the pot; there are so many variables in cooking. If I'm only carrying one, it would be the Whisperjet. But, either way, you're fine. Have a good walk.
