What tools are in your backpack/hunting bag?
Most people I know carry a backpack with them while hunting/hiking, I'm no different (lol, guys and their tools right?). What's in yours?
Mine:
Loaded extra mag
Hatchet
Multi-tool
Knife
Sierra Saw
Fire Steel
Entrenching tool
First Aid kit (bandages, gauze, tape, ointments, etc)
Hat Light
Small sharpening stone
Can of Chef Boyardee
Spork
Metal cup
Tarp
Small wool blanket
2L water
Oh yeah, and:
550 cord
Flask of Bourbon
Yeah, it kinda sucks having to lug all that stuff around but I live in a pretty populated area. So if I want to do some serious hunting (far from hacks, and douches in Ghillie suits who think they are snipers/Rambo) I have to hike pretty deep and far.
I keep it to the bare essentials for bow hunting. Only a Fanny Pack that contains- Compass, GPS, limb saw, face mask, Insect Repellent,grunt call.gutting knife, latex gloves, one 20 ounce bottle of frozen water, and 3 trail bars.That gets me through a day of hunting.
