how do i apply metal flakes.?
What kind of paint do they use to mix metal flakes?? Coz i read in books that they use intercoat clear to mix the metal flakes. What exactly is that???Is it a clearcoat without the activator?? I'm using a basecoat clearcoat system by DUPONT right now. Pls Help
I used metal flake in the base coat and in the first 2 coats of clear. You just got to be careful not to add to much cause it'll clog the gun. Plus if you use to much without the right tip on the gun, the gun will just spit the flake out. Take your time and watch your overlapping you'll end up with flake lines. Good luck
