cutlery set for someone who cooks?
SO My BF likes good knives, he cooked in high school and we just moved into an apartment and doesnt have any so for x-mas i was going to buy him some and i found a 13 peice set for $70 but they were orginally $120. We dont have alot of money so $70 is alot for me right now. His friend is telling me there crap cause there cheap but i dont have money.

The only reason i asked his freind is cause hes a cook also but he thinks money grows on trees....
Get him one GOOD knife (e.g. Wusthof, Sabatier, Henckel's) each year until he has the ones he needs. Start with a 10-12" Chef's knife because it's the most useful - and usually also the most expensive.
