i have HALF brown lab and half coyote dog name rosie they are called coydogs.how can i calm her down?
rosie is 14 months old, recently spaded-medicine given to her to calm her down before spading her.not even double dose. at least once a day she becomes very hyper and very aggressive to other dogs. she will not accept a collar and doses of benedrayl makes her more hyper.i love her so much and really need help with her no smart alec answers please.
You can't, she's a wild animal. Her instincts are at war with each other.
She won't accept training very well, she will always be untrustworthy around smaller animals and other dogs.
Drugging her is only making it worse!.
Best thing to do is find some way to exercise her vigorously every single day.
Coyotes evolved to cover lots of territory, they are very high energy and very smart. Mixing a Coyote with a lab, also very high energy is a recipe for a crazy high energy animal. Good luck with that!
