what stuff will i need to buy to go camping help?
we are going camping in the summer, with our 2 young sons, all i have so far is the frame tent, a lantern (will need more) and some airbeds and sleeping bags. fold up chairs and table, can anyone help with my list of stuff to get as its hard trying to think what we'll need. i know we need an elec hook up and a cooker, anything that i could easily forget, from any experiencd campers. oh yea were taking the dog aswell!
I have a better suggestion:
Find a local state or metro park and rent a cabin. You could spend easily $500 - $1000 on Camping Equipment and still not have something that you would need and then use only once this coming year. And then after you buy the needed stuff and use it once you have to store it or get rid of it.
Cabin prices around here start out around $100 for a 3 night stay. The cabins include:
cots and sleeping pads
stoves
lanterns
tables
chairs
electric
running water
The money that could be saved could be spent on extending the weekend or going someplace in addition like the zoo or a waterpark.
